The Light-Duty Composite Ground Protection Mat
The Spartan Scout Mat is a light-duty composite ground protection mat built for the jobs a heavy timber or full-size composite mat is overkill for. At 4'×8' and just 88 lbs, two people can carry and place it by hand — laying down a temporary walkway, access road, or work platform over lawns, turf, and soft ground without heavy equipment.
Molded from HDPE with built-in UV protection, the Scout Mat won't conduct electricity, resists the elements, and carries an estimated 10-year lifespan. One side has raised nubs for aggressive traction and mud dispersal; the other has a lighter tread for pedestrian use — so the same mat works under equipment or foot traffic.
